He is obsessed with Disco, Italo, classic Chicago House & early Detroit Techno as well as the subversive sounds of contemporary electronic artists. He has DJed throughout the United States and in Europe at clubs & parties like Horse Meat Disco (London), Club Lux (Lisbon), Tripod (Dublin), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Pratersauna & Fluc Wanne (Vienna), Berghain (Berlin) and Hafen 2 (Frankfurt).

Anthony Mansfield has been on a 18-year journey through the world of psychedelic dance music ever since attending the now-legendary full moon massives of San Francisco’ s Wicked Crew in the early 90’ s. Anthony spent the rest of the decade in New York, spreading the gospel of deep house across the Empire State with a late- night radio show, his 8-year-running weekly, and the countless underground parties that gave birth to his own crew, HectorWorks Soundsystem. After an exhausting and debaucherous 2-year run as GM, talent booker, and resident DJ at upstate’ s largest live music venue, The Odyssey, Anthony was ready to return to San Francisco.

Anthony hit the West Coast running in 2001, joining his old friend DJ M3 as resident DJ and co-promoter of the infamous Green Gorilla Lounge in a string of successful weekly club nights, true seat-of-your-pants underground parties, and blown- out monthly events across the Bay Area, with some of the city’ s and world’ s best names in dance music. Anthony has left his mark on Burning Man for the last decade as well, at the Space Lounge, Green Gorilla, and Disco Knights sound camps, with a trail of exhausted dancers and party people in the wake of his many epic sets on the playa.

Releasing tracks on Gomma, Moodmusic, Aniligital, and Om Records, his tunes have received nods (and plays) from some of the world’ s top DJs, including Dimitri from Paris, Harvey, Greg Wilson, Doc Martin, Idjut Boys, Ivan Smaggle, The Revenge, Pete Herbert, and Playgroup.

TENSNAKE

"Tensnake is an electro producer from Hamburg, Germany, who emerged in the mid-2000s with a disco-influenced style and rose to critical acclaim at the end of the decade. Born Marco Niemerski, he made his commercial recording debut with the Restless EP on the label Mirau in 2006. He released the follow-up I Say Mista EP on the label in 2007.

In addition, he released EPs on the labels Players Paradise (Dust, 2007), Radius Records (Fried Egg, 2007), and Endless Flight (Keep Believin', 2008).

Critical acclaim came with the release of the In the End (I Want You to Cry) EP on the label Running Back in 2009. The EP was voted number one on DJhistory.com's end-of-the-year list, among other accolades, and spawned a couple different club hits with "In the End (I Want You to Cry)" and "Holding Back (My Love)."

In the midst of this breakthrough success in 2009, Tensnake was chosen to compile a DJ mix for Resident Advisor. In 2010 he released the Coma Cat EP on the label Permanent Vacation. The EP's title track was licensed for release by Defected in the United Kingdom."

Please join us on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Project One Gallery & Lounge as we come together to aid in raising funds for relief efforts, so desperately needed for the people of Japan.

Japan is currently facing it's most devastating natural disasters in history. On March 11, 2011 magnitude-8.9 earthquake hit off the shore of Japan, unleashing a 23-foot (seven-meter) tsunami and leaving enormous destruction in its wake. Hundreds have been killed in this disaster and thousands have been left homeless, as the tsunami swept through the cites and towns of the Northeast of Japan. The crisis still has the potential to spread further since the tsunami and earthquake damaged several nuclear reactors, which brave crews have been battling since the original incident.

This heartbreaking tragedy has opened the arms and hearts of people around the world - every little bit helps! Our Japan Relief Fundraiser brings 11 of the top ranking DJs in San Francisco together under one roof, for a night of music and art. This is also a chance to checkout our current art exhibit, "Warhol Reimagined: The New Factory" (curated by Warholian.com); a Warhol inspired art show, featuring 59 different artists from San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.

100% of profits from the night, including admission, bar sales & all tips from the bartenders, will be generously donated to the American Red Cross (www.redcross.org) for Japan's earthquake and tsunami survivors.

We are expecting an epic night of great music, art and support from the people of San Francisco, for this incredibly important cause. Please come by and assist our efforts to help Japan.
